My background

I started my career in print and then web design. My inquisitive nature and love of problem solving led me to specialise in UX design in 2009. I spent several years at leading design agencies Great Fridays and Amaze working on projects for global brands as UX lead. I then spent time as head of design and UX at a startup building enterprise software before moving into freelance and contract work.

How I work

I always put the user at the heart of any project but at the same time I’m pragmatic enough to understand business needs and requirements. I work iteratively evolving solutions through evaluation and testing and favour lean working methods focussing on producing workable results. I prefer working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams – but can also work independently when needed.

What I do

I'm adept throughout the entire UX lifecycle of a project. My key strengths are in interaction design, being able to come up with and rapidly prototype ideas and test them.
